The silicone Jungle Rhubarb leaf mildew and mold is roughly 18” in length. This specific mold is huge! This's the huge leaf which often Chef Stéphane Tréand used in a recently available magazine article, “Showpieces on the Fly.” Stéphane better to cast this kind of great leaf with an open school to ensure that a butterfly might be seen flying through the center. Idea which is great! It's great for pressing pastillage, chocolate, marzipan, or maybe pouring isomalt/sugar in it. Reshape the dull leaf to make some other looking leaf each and every time. This mold of showpieces and even as display trays is used by many chefs. In case you don't top off all areas of the mold and add just a part of the leaf, you are able to produce many different sizes of leaves from the mold. The mold consists of a top notch, food speak to protected platinum cured silicone. The Botanical molds are actually constructed of a tight silicone and are also not delicate but accommodating. Clean just before usage. Don't heat above 450º F/232° C.
